Application Scope of Underground Hydraulic Support Cylinders
1. Classification & Detailed Application of Each Cylinder
1. Column Cylinders
Core load-bearing part of the hydraulic support. It bears the massive pressure from overlying strata, supports the working face roof to avoid collapse, lifts the whole support and resists dynamic underground rock pressure.
2. Push Jack Cylinders
Realize step-by-step advancement of the support and scraper conveyor. Push the support forward following coal cutting progress and pull the conveyor toward the coal wall for continuous coal transportation.
3. Side Guard Cylinders
Drive side guard plates to seal gaps between adjacent supports to block falling gangue, and prevent the support from tilting under unbalanced ground pressure.
4. Face Guard Cylinders
Extend the guard baffle to hold the coal wall, effectively stop coal wall spalling and falling lumps, safeguard underground personnel and equipment.
5. Angle Adjustment & Leveling Cylinders
Adjust the angle of top beam and shield beam to adapt irregular roof, and level the support base on uneven underground floor.
